The DF70A benefits from our Lean Burn Control System which enables the engine to operate on a lean air-fuel ratio or a thinner mixture of fuel. The system controls the air to fuel mixture by predicting fuel needs according to operating conditions. It delivers its benefits over a wide operating range providing significant improvements in fuel economy from low speed operation well up into the cruising range, which all helps to reduce your fuel bills.
Fit a DF70A to your transom and you will benefit from; improved fuel efficiency, better throttle response, increased grip & acceleration, better weight distribution, zero-maintenance self-adjusting timing chain, smoother gear shifting, new reduced drag gear case all in a lightweight and compact design.

Our engineers took a bold approach in building all-new fuel injection system components that are smaller and lighter than those found in previous systems. This keeps the overall weight of the DF20A lower than any other outboard in the four stroke 20hp class. By adding the proven Lean Burn Control technology to their design, these outboards deliver remarkable fuel economy and reduced emissions throughout their operating range.

Weighing only 13.5kg, our DF2.5 is the lightest 2.5hp four stroke on the market – it is so light that you’ll forget that it’s a four stroke!
There are a range of features that you wouldn’t expect on such a small outboard, including F-N Gear shift, water-cooling and a 1 litre fuel tank that will last you for hours.
With a big carrying handle, the engine is easily lifted on and off a tender or pontoon while the 4 tilt positions ensure that you can set the engine to your boat’s requirements.
To give you even more flexibility when choosing your outboard, the DF2.5 is now also available as a long shaft model.
